Dockers skipper Pearce ruled out of AFL Indigenous All Stars squad

The AFL Indigenous All Stars have been hit by another injury blow, with Alex Pearce the latest player to be ruled out of Saturday night’s match with Fremantle in Perth.
Pearce injured his left ankle during Fremantle’s intra-club match on Friday.
It was the second time in as many weeks Pearce had tweaked his ankle and the Dockers are taking no risks with their captain.
Fremantle said it would assess Pearce’s availability for its next intra-club match on February 23 and the club’s preseason hit-out against Melbourne on March 2.
The Indigenous All Stars will also be without Liam Jones after the Bulldogs defender injured his hamstring.
Jones has been ruled out for about 2 months.
Star Fremantle recruit Shai Bolton is still in doubt to represent the Indigenous All Stars after suffering a minor calf injury in late January.
But Dockers teammate Michael Walters, who underwent minor knee surgery in the off-season, has declared himself fit to play.
Walters has been named captain of the side.
