Everything we know about Clarkson’s Farm season four

The popular Prime Video show began in 2021 and documents life on the star’s farm in Chadlington near Chipping Norton.

Clarkson bought Diddly Squat Farm in 2008 and the documentary has brought awareness to issues facing farmers across the country.

With three seasons to date, the series is watched by millions of viewers around the world and has garnered a major following.

This has led to a tourism boom in Oxfordshire with thousands turning up weekly to catch a glimpse of Clarkson.

Season three of Clarkson’s Farm was released in two parts across May 2024 and the producers wasted no time in starting filming for the following season.

Posting on the official Diddly Squat Farm Shop Facebook page in June last year the team said: “Another day, in the can. S4.”

So what do we know about the new season?

What will the series focus on?

Aside from the day-to-day life of running the farm, there are a couple of topics that are likely to appear in the new season.

Battles with West Oxfordshire District Council were prominent throughout the third season but the show ended with the team gaining the green light for a café, shop and car park.

It is possible that this will be explored further and viewers will see how all this will work out in the new episodes.

Mr Clarkson also purchased The Windmill pub in Asthall, near Burford for around £1,000,000 last year.

Renovating the property and renaming it The Farmer’s Dog, the Oxfordshire watering hole has proved a hit with locals and tourists alike.

There were filming signs present at the pub during its first weekends last summer so it is likely to make an appearance in the upcoming season.

When will Clarkson’s Farm season four be released?

No specific release date has been given by Prime Video as of yet but it has been reported by several outlets to be on course for spring with May cited.

Season three was also released in the same month with a similar time frame so sometime between the end of spring and the start of summer seems likely.

Has a trailer been released yet?

Prime Video is yet to release a trailer as it has with the past seasons but one is expected in the coming months.

A short announcement clip was previously released while multiple filming updates have also been provided with the episodes wrapping filming last year.

The season is now in the production and editing phase.

Will this be the last season of Clarkson’s Farm?

No, the fourth season will be followed by a fifth which was recently confirmed by Mr Clarkson himself late in 2024.
